She has worked at The Ritz London, two Michelin Star restaurants and Buckingham Palace. This, and her extensive events experience, has enabled her to carefully design luxury menus suitable for preparation in any domestic kitchen, and Private Dining style service.
Since 2013 we have grown to include a happy band of creative individuals who share our Founder's enthusiasm, high standards and exceptional attention to detail in all things food. Jacqueline has personally trained every chef in the specific recipes, cooking skills, plating techniques and level of service we offer and pride ourselves on. If you hire one of 'Jacqueline's chefs' you will be sure of a wonderful experience. Do take a look at our Testimonials page.
After working with Channel 4 and Nigella Lawson on 'The Taste,' Jacqueline was invited to compete on a new cookery quiz show with Simon Rimmer. Jacqueline's partner didn't win any of the premium ingredients; the team were stuck with some seriously challenging options! Luckily, Jacqueline managed to turn things around in her cookery round, with a winning dessert that both judges were blown away by and agreed would be good on either of their menus. She won the show!
“I absolutely love food. In fact, I am possibly obsessed with it. I am constantly thinking about it. It is a bit of a problem…so I made it my job!
I like cooking it, eating it, growing it, picking it and most of all sharing it.
My mother is an excellent cook as was her mother before her. Some of my earliest memories are of us preparing dinner or making fairy cakes together; food has always been a shared passion for us.
After graduating from Reading University in History, I worked in Marketing & Advertising in the Publishing industry for a few years before following my heart and studying the Cordon Bleu Diploma at Tante Marie in Surrey.
Tante Marie is one of the leading culinary academies in the world covering all areas of cookery. I learnt exceptionally valuable recipes and techniques from classical French to modern European and sugar craft and gained the highly regarded qualification.
Using my business & marketing knowledge, chef skills, passion, drive and enthusiasm I set up the business in March 2013 and have never looked back.
I have worked as a chef in a huge variety of places across the South and in London to expand my food knowledge base. I learnt to skin deer while working in my local butchers in Cranleigh, baked bread at 2am at my local bakers and threw myself into the hospitality industry with determination and an open mind before I had even started my official training.
I have now worked at top hotels and restaurants such as the The Ritz London, Michelin Star restaurant The Pass, South Lodge Hotel in Horsham, The Ledbury (3 Michelin Stars), The Raddison Edwardian in Guildford and Wotton House Hotel in Dorking as well as many fantastic country pubs across the South. I even lived in a pub for over a year before my business took off and I could afford to move out with my fiancé. I worked for 'Rhubarb,' one of the most respected catering companies in the industry, with them I cooked for the Royal Family at Buckingham palace. I have also catered for clients at Ascot, Twickenham and Goodwood.
I get great satisfaction from preparing and designing dishes for events across the South, in client's own homes or at their chosen venues, using delicious local ingredients. I sometimes pinch myself to check I am really in the real world; I have worked exceptionally hard to build my businesses and thoroughly enjoy what I do. This passion and enthusiasm is something I cannot help but share not only with my clients and team, but with everyone I meet.
I am currently working on a book and will be launching my own radio show and food blog soon to further my infectious enthusiasm for all things edible. You heard it here first!”
