About Jacqueline Wise & Her Private Chefs

Show-stopping dishes showcasing the best local and seasonal produce, coupled with exceptional service is our passion; we absolutely love what we do and we want to share that passion with you!

Our Founder and Head Chef Jacqueline, launched the business in 2013 after completing a Cordon Bleu Diploma at Tante Marie Culinary Academy and the level 4 diploma in Professional Culinary Arts. She has worked at The Ritz London, two Michelin Star restaurants and Buckingham Palace before setting up her own private dining offering for dinner parties and private events.

Jacqueline loves to forage, garden, cook on fire, educate about regenerative food and build a likeminded community of nature-loving foodies who care about connecting with others and the natural world around them through good food.

Her cooking style is modern European, with a lean towards traditional French cuisine. She specialises in seafood, fire-cookery and game. Jacqueline and her team also run Kelmsley Catering which caters for Weddings, and Positively Delicious, a Nomadic Cookery School with foraging and fire-cookery experiences across Sussex and Surrey. Jacqueline and her team of chefs also offer private cookery lessons in your own home, or at our professional kitchens in Pagham, near Chichester. We can offer vouchers as gifts, please get in touch for more information.

Since 2013 we have grown to include a happy band of creative individuals who share our Founder's enthusiasm, high standards and exceptional attention to detail in all things food. Jacqueline has personally trained every chef in the specific recipes, cooking skills, plating techniques and level of service we offer and pride ourselves on.

Jacqueline has designed five set private dining menus to choose from, or if you would like to book Jacqueline personally, she offers a bespoke 9-course tasting menu, inspired by her allotment, seasonal offerings from her extensive network of local suppliers, and your favourite ingredients. Fresh Oysters shucked freshly in your home are mainstay for these experiences! Please email us for a sample menu.

Jacqueline also has many years of experience catering larger events with her experienced team. From canapes and bowl food for 100, bespoke buffets for a Birthday bash, or funeral catering, we can serve delicious food, serve the drinks you supply, rent in any equipment needed, and help manage your special celebration in everyway.
